Study visit to Hungary within the project "Co-operation between Public Administration in Cross-Border regions of Croatia and Hungary for Serving Citizens Better (CATCH)"
The County Office of the Somogy County organized and hosted study visit to Hungary as part of the project "Co-operation between Public Administration in Cross-Border regions of Croatia and Hungary for Serving Citizens Better". The study visit was held on May 17 and 18, 2018 in Kaposvár and Budapest. In addition to representatives of the Government Office of Somogy County, said event attended representatives of the State Administration Office in Osijek-Baranja County, the State Administration Office in Međimurje County, the Ministry of Public Administration as well as consultants from Hungary. During the study visit, participants were presented with experience in the work of the Government Windows in Hungary and the functioning of the supporting application of the Government Windows staff, the so called "knowledge store". Second day was organized a visit to the National Public Administration University in Budapest where the development and structure of the University as well as the modern retraining methods in the Hungarian public service (e-learning platform) were presented. The study visit ended with a visit to the Hungarian Parliament.
